JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose :
- Responsible in managing the reporting and accounting requirements for the General Ledger (GL) and ensure compliance with external and internal accounting principles on a timely and accurate basis
- Performing daily sales reconciliation and refund transaction.
- Prepare cheque, payment voucher, and other clerical task assigned from time to time
- Responsible to handle full set of account and able to meet tight deadline with minimum supervisor
- Prepare SST report and submission
- Planning and control of cash flow and funding including cash flow report.
- Responsible for timely closing of accounts, annual audits, annual tax submission and monthly financial reporting.
- To perform a continuous review of workflows procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedures standards.
- Ensure sound internal controls and process improvement.
- Liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agent and company secretary.
- Perform other job functions and ad- hoc projects assigned.
- Highly analytical and possess the ability to interpret, draw conclusions and pick up issues from journals, reconciliations and financial statements.
- Strong work ethic. Able to work independently, resourceful and can be relied on to follow up and complete tasks with regular progress update given to supervisor.
- Have strong problem solving skills, meticulous and have an eye for detail to correct any mistakes.
- Proactive and possess an attitude of challenging the ways things are done and continuously drive process improvements.
- Min 3- 5 years accounting experience
- Experience in GL and audit firm is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
