JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
The successful incumbents will:
- Assist in managing and maintaining the Safety Excellence Management System (SEMS) in TNBR.
- Coordinate audits & track progress of corrective action required.
- Liaise with Lab Managers, Section Heads and team leader of the PTKK regarding occupational safety and health
- Assist in planning and execute the occupational safety and health activities.
- Plan and liaise with the laboratories in scheduled waste disposing activities according to Environmental Quality Act.
- Coordinate and compile incident reporting & investigation in systematic manner & develop means to reduce incidents.
- Conduct Safety Induction talks to all contractors who will execute works in TNBR premises.
- Monitor all activities pertaining to safety at workplace.
- Coordinate with all floor fire marshal to ensure all escape route is clear.
- Inspect/monitor all fire alarm devices and ensure they are in working condition.
- Conduct in house safety audit for TNBR.
- Help direct rescue and firefighting operations in the event of a fire or an explosion.
Requirements:
The prospective candidate should:
- Possess at least a Certificate/Diploma Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma inMechanical/Electrical/Civil/OSHE or Equivalent from higher learning institutions recognized by JabatanPerkhidmatanAwam (JPA) / Malaysian Quality Agency (MQA).
- At least 1-2 year (s) of working experience in the related field.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Presentable, result oriented, multi-tasking and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
